Non-stop from Berlin to Barcelona and Bilbao with Vueling

On 25 March 2012, Spanish low-cost airline Vueling will start operating daily flights from Berlin-Tegel to Barcelona, the Spanish metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea. An Airbus A320 will depart from Tegel daily at 2.50 p.m. (as of 3 June, from BER), landing in Barcelona at 5.20 p.m. The flight from Barcelona will depart at 11.25 a.m., arriving in Tegel at 2.10 p.m.

Traffic report: Air traffic growth continues at the capital airports

Air traffic continues to increase in Berlin and Brandenburg, even as the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt is set to open. A total of 1,621,956 passengers used the airports Tegel and Schoenefeld in January; 4.8 per cent more than in the same month the previous year.

The flight paths have been specified, the work of the Noise Abatement Commission continues. At today's committee meeting, Prof. Dr. Rainer Schwarz, CEO of Berlin Airports, highlighted ways of further minimising aircraft noise around Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
