At Berlin Airports, we want to communicate with the airport’s neighbours. With the expansion of Schoenefeld Airport into the new Airport Berlin Brandenburg International BBI, the focus of our work is on the dialogue with affected communities. Rosemarie Meichsner, the Neighbourhood Liaison Officer, coordinates contacts between the airport operating company and representatives of neighbouring communities, rural districts and local authorities.

All those with an interest in the new Airport Berlin Brandenburg International BBI can find expert advice and information in the airportworld bbi visitor centre. Berlin Airports also provide continuous information about new developments in sound insulation and noise protection. In addition, the BBI Info bus brings information directly into the local communities.
